The kit is composed of a laser cut MDF core overlaid with scribed siding. Though the original had clapboard, the scribed siding looks so good you can hardly tell the difference. Easy to build, easy to paint and finish, A very enjoyable kit. Footprint is 7 7 8"" wide by 3 5 8" deep over the platform.
