The vines selected for this assemblage are between 50 and 90 years old and the musts were vinified on the full lees in barriques for one year

The vineyard is the Gabutti cru and the exposure is south to southwest. After an extended fermentation and considerable aging in the classic botte of the region, the wine is bottled without filtration.
