2023 Domaine Leflaive Sous le Dos d'Ane, Meursault Premier Cru, France Bordiga Pernod-Ricard 'Ricard' Pastis de MarseilleThis Chardonnay comes from biodynamically farmed vines on the stony, high slopes above Blagny, where thin clay over limestone gives Meursault depth with Puligny like cut. Fruit is hand harvested, gently pressed, and fermented with native yeasts in oak. levage runs about 12 months in barrels with a restrained share of new wood, followed by 6 months in tank to settle before a light fining. The 2023 is precise yet layered, showing ripe citrus and stone
