Part of the Côte des Bar’s magic is the way its wines tend to preserve their mineral strictness even through many years of aging

so the young wine was drawn off after 4 weeks

leading to a thick palate of small berries

Aged on fine lees for 9 months

2022 Uivo Moscatel Galego, Douro, Portugal De Sterlich Part of the Côte desHarvested from 40ish year old vineyards on a combination of granite and schist soils at around 600 meters of elevation. The fruit is pressed directly off the skins, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It then ages for 6 months on the fine lees in cement tank.
