Antique Tintype of Handsome Painter (?) in Overalls with Etched Order On Reverse printmaking and would have been usedI've been trying to figure out what the text scratched into the back of this tintype might indicate but don't have an answer. It looks like an occupational photo of sorts to me, with this handsome man in bowler and paint spattered overalls suggesting perhaps a painter to me or maybe the "bust" described on the back of the tintype refers to a sculpture, and our man works in plaster. Certainly it seems like a job that is being described "Order #240"
