Karl Benz Finish:Rolled 8th December 1958Karl Benz. Regarded as the inventor of the motor car. On 3rd July 1886 Benz showed the first automobile powered by an internal combustion engine, a car that he had designed and built himself. It was manufactured by his company Benz and Co.
