Charming Graphite and Watercolor House Portrait, Burdett NY, 1860s, with Another on Reverse antique brass stencila one might never knowI know from the dealer I purchased this from who shares my love of antique naive drawings and watercolors and has many I covet that it was done by a child in Burdett, NY, c. 1860s. I paid nearly as much for it as I am asking, but just couldn't resist this wonderfully specific and wonderfully wonky structure, with its green door, two smoking chimneys and all these many windows glowing yellow. The way the leaves on those trees were rendered under the
