The warp is a slubby #6 Texas cotton thread dyed a deep 1950s style indigo, while the weft uses #5 Samurai Cottona short staple Japanese cotton that adds nep and natural roughness. Woven slowly on the rare GL3 power loom (an early Toyoda Automatic Loom Company machine), the fabric retains a slubby, textured hand. The off white
